As an interior designer, Denise Harris is passionate about designing homes that accommodate her clients’ unique lifestyles. She believes a well-designed space doesn’t just look great—it improves how people live in their homes. Denise understands how to balance beauty and function and works closely with clients to create spaces that are both comfortable and stylish. Her direct relationships with premium furniture, lighting, and custom decor suppliers also enable her to offer high-quality design solutions tailored to any budget.

Wendell was named after poet Oliver Wendell Holmes. When trains would arrive in town, porters would call out “WEN-DELL” with emphasis on each syllable and this pronunciation has been used ever since! Today, living in Wendell offers residents a sparse suburban feel with lots of parks.

Wendell Resources

The Wendell Historical Society – The Wendell Historical Society has preserved Wendell’s history and operated its own museum since the late 1960s. Once raising funds through fish fries and ice cream socials, the Society now holds an annual raffle to support the museum.

Wendell Magnet Middle School – As part of the Wake County Public School System, Wendell Magnet Middle School helps prepare students to valuable citizens in an ever-changing society.

Wendell Lions Club – Wendell Lions Club is a group of dedicated volunteers who serve their community and the world at large through a variety of services projects and fundraising events.
